So that one worked...

so if I now write a bit about my purpose here will it work?

Inspired by rainy day, Marie Claire article I read whilst having a lovely weekend away to celebrate 10yr wedding anniversary.

Been meaning to blog for a while, actually tried one in the summer but it was a bit too complex for the time I am able to commit at this stage. However, its now become more pressing, my Mosaics are rocking and rollin' so to speak and really inspired at mo, fab. Have loads of strings to pluck at present and hope this may give me some sanity to it all.

Other reason is my Community Group - Community Mosaics East have recently won funding for a project and I had volunteered to be the 'internet/ict' person - not a big issue I thought at the time. So now is the day of reckoning. I wonder if blogging is going to be a useful and possibly easy way of getting people involved in the project - its going to aimed at parents of school children and maybe they can use it to vote? track progress of the project, maybe visually.

The pressing issue is to see if people can suggest simple ideas that I can navigate with ease to ease this project. The parents are unlikely to have made mosaics before, they will take part in a 4 week programme of 2hrs to make Mosaics for themselves primarily but another aspect if favourable is to make something that can be put in the garden area - maybe a paving slab/s as a lasting testament to the project.

What's your thoughts out there?
